Juventus can move one step closer to their ninth consecutive Serie A title when they travel to the San Siro to face AC Milan on Tuesday night
The Bianconeri currently hold a seven-point lead over second-placed Lazio with eight games remaining, after continuing their perfect return to Serie A action by beating Torino 4-1 in the Derby della Mole. Their win coincided with Lazio losing their fourth game of the season, being beaten by Tuesday’s opponents AC Milan.
The win helped Milan tighten their grip on seventh and, as it stands, a place in next season’s Europa League second qualifying round. But Milan will have their eyes on moving further up the table with just two points separating them, Roma and Napoli who occupy the spots above them and are currently set for the Europa League group stages.
Milan may also be searching for revenge, having been knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Juventus on away goals in the semi-finals, extending their 11-game winless run against the Bianconeri, having last tasted victory in the 2016 Super Cup.
